Dispensing + inventory + procurement

Pharmacy that talks to the clinic — not a separate world.

Most clinics run their attached pharmacy on a stand-alone billing software that doesn’t know what the doctor prescribed. Stock-outs surprise everyone. Dispensing errors compound. Lucoze’s pharmacy is part of the same record — prescription, dispense, stock, batch, all in one chain.

From prescription to dispense

Doctor prescribes. Pharmacy sees it instantly.

Prescription opens automatically at the pharmacy counter when the patient arrives. Out-of-stock substitutes are suggested with the doctor’s pre-approval. The patient counsel sheet prints in the local language.

  • Substitution rules at the prescription level — not the pharmacist’s discretion.
  • Patient counsel sheets in Hindi / Bengali / Odia with dosing instructions.
  • Refill reminders at 80% consumption — chronic-care patients don’t run out.

Stock + procurement

Batches, expiry, reorder — all in one place.

Stock movements are atomic. Receive a batch, expiry and supplier are captured. Dispense, the system picks the closest-expiring batch. End of month, you have a Schedule-H register that’s ready for inspection.

  • FEFO dispensing prevents expired stock reaching the patient.
  • Schedule-H + Schedule-X compliance with regulator-ready register exports.
  • Multi-store transfers tracked end-to-end — no paper challan needed.

Common questions

Pharmacy module, the doubts our customers raised first.

What about narcotics / Schedule X?

Schedule-X drugs have a separate dispensing path with prescriber verification and a printable register that matches the State drug authority’s format.

Can pharmacy run as a standalone for a separately-owned shop?

Yes — the pharmacy module can be enabled standalone for an attached but separately-billed pharmacy. The data flow stays clean across both ledgers.
