Jharkhand runs on two kinds of healthcare: the steel-and-mining towns like Jamshedpur and Bokaro with their company hospitals and private clinics, and a capital in Ranchi where nursing homes, diagnostic centres and specialty practices are multiplying fast. Both are still stitching together paper files, a billing register and a separate lab pad. Lucoze puts patient records, appointments, GST-compliant billing, lab reports and pharmacy stock on one screen. Front desks run in Hindi, patients get searched however their name is spelt, and every ABHA links at the first visit — not months later.

On the ground in Jharkhand
Walk into a Ranchi nursing home off Kanke Road or a clinic in the Bariatu hospital belt and the front desk is working in Hindi, spelling one patient's name three ways across a register, a bill book and a lab pad. In Jamshedpur and Bokaro it's company-hospital OPDs plus a ring of private clinics; in Dhanbad and Deoghar, busy standalone practices. Patients speak Hindi and often a tribal language — Santhali, Ho, Mundari, Nagpuri or Khortha — so names never spell the same twice. Lucoze's patient search copes with that, the interface is rolling out in Hindi first, and support is remote-first from our team in Konnagar, Hooghly — with on-site help for larger hospital rollouts. Because so much of the state's care is concentrated in Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad while patients travel in from rural districts, a record that only lives in one clinic's register doesn't follow them home. Linking ABHA at the first visit makes that record portable across districts under ABDM, and the system tolerates the patchy connections common outside the main towns rather than freezing when the line drops.

Lucoze in Jharkhand — what clinics ask.
Do you send someone on-site to set us up?
Our team is in Konnagar, Hooghly (West Bengal), so Jharkhand setup is remote-first — video onboarding, we migrate your existing data, printable Hindi cheat-sheets, and WhatsApp plus chat support. For larger or hospital deployments we arrange on-site visits; we won't pretend to drop into every clinic.
Can the front desk work in Hindi?
Patient search handles Hindi, Devanagari and Latin spellings right now, and printable Hindi cheat-sheets ship with onboarding. The full interface is rolling out in Hindi first (Q3 2026), then Bengali and Odia.
Where is our data stored, and can we leave?
All records sit in Indian data centres, DPDP 2023 compliant. There's no lock-in — export everything to CSV or PDF whenever you like. Start on a 14-day trial and you can be live in about 14 days.
Our patients travel between districts for care — will their records follow them?
Linking an ABHA number at the first visit makes the record portable under ABDM, so a patient seen in Ranchi and later in Dhanbad isn't starting from a blank file. The system also tolerates the patchy connections common outside the main towns, so a dropped line during a rural OPD doesn't stall the front desk.
