HFR login: how to sign in to facility.abdm.gov.in (2026)

The HFR portal login is at facility.abdm.gov.in, using the mobile number linked to your ABDM facility account and an OTP. Here is the flow, what to do if you can't get in, and why it isn't the same as the HPR or ABHA login.

This is a plain how-to, not official NHA guidance. The portal at facility.abdm.gov.in is the source of truth for the current login screens and requirements — confirm the exact flow there.

Where is the HFR login?

The Health Facility Registry login is at facility.abdm.gov.in. You sign in with the mobile number linked to your facility’s ABDM account and a one-time password (OTP) sent to that number. There is no separate password to remember for most facilities — the OTP is the key, so the phone that holds that number is what matters.

How to log in, step by step

Portals get redesigned, so treat this as the shape of the flow, not fixed screens:

  1. Open facility.abdm.gov.in and choose to sign in.
  2. Enter the registered mobile number for your facility.
  3. Enter the OTP sent to that number.
  4. You land in your facility dashboard, where you manage your entry and your HFR ID.

If your facility isn’t registered yet, there is nothing to log in to — you create the entry first. We walk through that in how to register your clinic on the HFR.

”I can’t log in” — the usual reasons

Almost every stuck login comes down to which number the account is on, not a forgotten password:

  • OTP going to a number you no longer have. The account is tied to the mobile used at registration. If that person has left or the SIM is gone, the OTP goes with it — you update the registered mobile through the portal’s support/update flow, not by making a new account.
  • Two entries for one facility. If someone registered a second time on a different number, you can end up with a duplicate. Use the one that carries your real, verified HFR ID and get the duplicate deactivated rather than working both.
  • OTP not arriving. Usually network or a full inbox; wait for the resend timer and check the number is entered correctly before assuming the account is broken.
  • Wrong registry entirely. Trying to log a doctor in here won’t work — see below.

HFR, HPR and ABHA are three different logins

The single most common mix-up. They are separate registries with separate sign-ins:

  • HFR — the facility login, here at facility.abdm.gov.in.
  • HPR — the doctor’s login, on the Healthcare Professionals Registry at hpr.abdm.gov.in. If you’re trying to sign a clinician in, that’s the one you want — see HPR registration for doctors.
  • ABHA — the patient’s health ID, which they create themselves.

If you’re new to all three and want the plain version of what each one is, start with HFR full form and HFR ID, explained.

Where this fits day to day

The HFR login is a place you visit occasionally — to register, update details, or check your entry. The everyday work is issuing ABHA-linked records against that HFR ID, and that shouldn’t mean logging into a government portal each time. Lucoze is built so issuing those records is part of the normal front-desk workflow, with data hosted in India. If you’d like to see how that works for your hospital, book a demo.

  • National Health Authority (NHA) / ABDM portals — facility.abdm.gov.in (HFR) and hpr.abdm.gov.in (HPR). Login screens, the OTP flow and any update/support steps change by portal update — confirm the current process on the portal itself.
